Alumaglass Pumex Logo

Alumaglass is pulverised aluminosilicate glass. This is a new abrasive offering advantages when compared to other traditional abrasive media. It enables considerable time saving in most applications. Alumaglass is ideal for glass etching and engraving. This material has a lower hardness than fused alumina. This produces a superior finish creating a smooth, polished surface. Non-hygroscopic. No particular storage conditions required.

  • Cuts faster than Aluminium Oxide
  • 40% more cutting per kg
  • Reduced air pressure - low density
  • No free silica upon fracture
