Aluminium Oxide is an extremely versatile polishing medium. Both Brown Fused Alumina and White Fused Alumina are fused aluminium oxide abrasive grains manufactured for maximum toughness and hardness to deliver superior performance. The consistent, high quality grain enable predictable, repeatable blasting results. The low iron content eliminate danger of rust staining.

Applications include cleaning (steel, metal parts), deburring, etching (glass, stone), finishing.

Pumex (UK) Ltd offers a premium quality bauxite sourced Brown Fused Alumina. This is crushed and graded to produce angular particles with sharp cutting edges. Provides a textured surface for subsequent coating or cosmetic finishing. The surface texture can be adjusted by the choice of mesh size.
